About the Camp

In response to declining arts education in public schools and the current state of world affairs, BroadArts brings back our very popular Summer Peace Arts Camp. Our unique youth arts program focuses on using the art of performance to explore concepts of peace and freedom. Carolyne Haycraft is again our Program Coordinator and Head Teacher for the camps.

The camps will focus on creating situations and experiences that enable children to explore what it means to create a world that fosters peace, love and inclusion. Through the process of creating live performance and theatre, students will experience the joy of collaboration and creation.

Over the course of one week, students will work with a total of six professional theatre artists to explore acting, music, improvisation, movement, writing and designing for the stage, while simultaneously learning and using valuable life skills needed in order to create a more peaceful and accepting world.

  • Classes Mon-Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
  • Celebration performance, Friday, 2:30 pm
  • Tuition includes snacks as well as all supplies and materials used during camp. Campers will need to provide their own lunch.
